About
I'm Keegan Gunnlaugsson, a designer in Elm Grove, Wisconsin.
With KG is my design practice, and it's just me, working from just outside Milwaukee. I design brands, labels, packaging, printed pieces and websites, and I set up the automation and AI that keep a small marketing team moving.

The short story
Fifteen years in-house, now on my own
For fifteen years I was the only in-house designer at OneTouchPoint, a print and brand management company. As the only designer, I worked on a little of everything, and working inside a print company taught me how a design holds up on press and on a shelf.
Along the way I took on more than design. I ran marketing operations, the systems behind the marketing: [which systems, to confirm]. I also led AI enablement there, working out where AI belonged in the work and helping people use it.
Now I work on my own as With KG, from Elm Grove. [Why I went out on my own, in a sentence or two.]
My first client was Manuscrito Tequila, started by three friends from Brookfield, the next town over. I designed their Chapter Two label and Cuento Corto, a limited Valentine's release, along with sell sheets for those labels and all of their shelf talkers. It's good work, and I'm glad to be doing it.

- Made renderings and lifestyle images for the Manuscrito labels I designed.
- Designed sell sheets and tasting sheets for those labels, and all of Manuscrito's shelf talkers. See it: the in-store work
- Designed Manuscrito's where-to-buy map, which lists stores in 44 Wisconsin towns. See it: the store list2025
- Built the Manuscrito engraving system, a Claude project of written rules and reference images that helps new label scenes match the engraved style already on the shelf. See it: the engraving system2026
- [Anything else true and specific: a class taught, a talk given, a group I belong to.]
- [One honest admission, such as something I haven't done yet.]
Clients
Who I like working with
I do my best work with people who are easy to work with, work hard and care about people, their own team and their customers included. If we see things the same way, the work goes better for both of us.
I work with:
- Owners, founders and marketing leads at small and midsize businesses and new brands.
- B2B marketing teams that need a designer who understands their systems.
- Mission-driven organizations doing real good, who deserve materials to match.
If you've never hired a designer before, you're very welcome here. I'll explain how a project goes and what it costs before you commit to anything.
Location
Where I am
I'm in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, just outside Milwaukee. I work with clients around Milwaukee and across Wisconsin and the Midwest, and national clients are welcome too. Most of the work happens over video calls and email, so distance rarely gets in the way.
If you're nearby, I'm glad to meet in person. [In-person meeting area, to confirm.] The where-to-buy map I designed for Manuscrito, my first client, lists O'Donoughues right here in Elm Grove.
